Hot rolled plates were utilized to heat treat the steels, resulting in their exceptional ballistic performance, uniform properties, and superior shape and surface quality. These steels are well-suited for applications requiring high levels of ballistic performance, including armored cars, armored personnel carriers, VIP cars, escort vehicles, security doors, bank counter shields, strongboxes, helmets, and shields, among others.
The manufacturing process of the steel involves utilizing an oxygen converter, fully killing the material, secondary refining it, and casting it into slabs. These slabs are then reheated and rolled into coils using a TMCP rolling process. The resulting BP plates undergo a series of steps including powerful leveling, cutting, heat treatment, and inspection before being delivered in sheet form. The plates are available in a variety of delivery conditions, such as TMCP, quenched, and quenched and tempered, among others.
To meet the specific requirements of customers, the steel plates can be delivered with pretreatments like blasting and painting. Additionally, services such as blanking, bending, and machining are also provided.
