Global stainless steel production fell 1.7% in the first half of the year

According to a report released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF). Preliminary statistics show that world stainless steel crude steel production increased by 7.8% month-on-month to 14.76 million tons in the second quarter of this year, while it fell by 1.7% to 28.4 million tons in the first half of the year.
ISSF data shows that China’s stainless steel crude steel production increased by 8.2% in the first half of this year, while stainless steel crude steel production in Asia except China and South Korea fell by 14.6%, the United States fell by 13.5%, and fell by 13.4%.
