CP multiphase steel series products HC570/780CP, HC570/780CPD+Z,…
Features and Applications
This steel matrix is predominantly composed of bainite and ferrite, with smaller amounts of martensite, retained austenite, and pearlite present in the structure. The resulting fine-grained structure of this steel leads to high tensile strength, and notably higher yield strength when compared to dual-phase steel of equivalent tensile strength. Additionally, it boasts superior bending and reaming performance, excellent flanging formability, and a high energy absorption capacity. As a result, this steel is ideal for use in applications such as chassis suspension, B pillars, bumpers, seat rails, and more.
